Compliance Question Of The Week
Question:
Is it permissible to send a "holiday" card to a prospect?
Answer:
The only permissible cards that a coach may send to a prospect are (1) an institutional note card that does not exceed 8 ½ by 11 inches when opened in full, contains only the name and logo of IU OR an IU athletics logo on the outside, must be blank on the inside (one side of the card when opened in full) when produced AND may only include handwritten information (e.g., words, illustrations) on the inside) and (2) postcards issued by the US Postal Service. So, a traditional holiday card would NOT be permissible. You may, however, write your own holiday greetings and draw your own illustrations on the inside of an IU note card OR design a letter w/a holiday greeting that has an opening and closing on it. See Ian if you have ANY questions about what is or is not permissible to send to a prospect!
