First Indiana field hockey player to play with the U.S. National Team

Scored a goal against Belgium in the Olympic qualifying tournament in Russia, the game that clinched a berth in the Olympics for the U.S. team

Made her first appearance with the senior national team on 8/29/2005 against Canada.

Led Indiana to its first appearance in the NCAA Tournament during her senior year

Semifinalist for the Honda Award in 2005, presented to the College Field Hockey's top player each year

Unanimous choice for Big Ten Player of the Year as a senior

Was officially named to the United States Olympic Team on June 23, 2008 upon the conlcusion of the National Championships in Virginia Beach, Va.  She will be making her first appearance in the Olympics in 2008.

Senior Christina Loukas earned a spot at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China with a first-place finish in the three-meter springboard at the U.S. Olympic Trials-Diving in June. This is Loukas' first Olympic Games.

 David Neville earned his trip to the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China when he finished third in the 400m dash at the U.S. Olympic Trials on July 3. This is Neville's first Olympic Games.

Tuesday, August 19 (semifinal) - Finished 2nd in heat to qualify for the finals.

Thursday, August 21 (finals) - Finished 3rd for Bronze, diving across the finish line and onto the medals stand.

Friday, August 22 (round 1) - Ran the anchor leg, leading the Americans into the finals.

Saturday, August 23 (finals) - Ran the third leg in the Americans' Olympic record-breaking performance for the gold.

 Aarik Wilson secured his spot on the 2008 U.S. Olympic team and his ticket to the Olympic Games in Beijing, China when he won the triple jump finals by a margin of 20 centimeters on July 6 at the U.S. Olympic Trials.

In Beijing: Earned the first-ever Olympic Softball win for Venezuela with a complete game one-hitter in a 8-0 five inning win over Netherlands. Bogado allowed just one walk and struck out three in the winning effort. Came back the next day to toss a seven inning complete game shutout against Canada, 2-0 by allowing just five hits.

 

Tossed a no-hitter against Puerto Rico in the America's Qualifier to determine the eighth and final team to qualify for the Olympics

The softball team is the first ever female team to qualify for the Olympics from Venezuela

Struckout 299 batters in her senior season for the Hoosiers, the second most in a single season in IU history

Led the Hoosiers to an appearance in the NCAA Tournament in 2006, the first appearance since 1996

Struck out 569 hitters in her career, the fourth-best total in Indiana softball history

Second team All-Big Ten in 2006

Named to All-Tournament team at the 2006 Big Ten Tournament
