Baseball America Names Dickerson Freshman All-American
7/3/2009 - Designated hitter Alex Dickerson has been named a Second Team Freshman All-American, Baseball America announced. Dickerson, who earlier collected Freshman All-America honors from Collegiate Baseball Newspaper and the National College Baseball Writers Association, was named the Big Ten Freshman of the Year and a second team all-conference choice this season. Hoosiers Add Righty to 2009 Class
The Indiana baseball team has added a righthanded pitcher to its incoming 2009 class, as Alex Herz (Boulder, Colo.) signed on to join the Hoosiers, head coach Tracy Smith announced today. The 6-foot-7 hurler will come to Bloomington after a solid senior campaign at Boulder High School.

Big Ten Network Celebrates Indiana Day on July 5
Hoosiers around the country can tune into the Big Ten Network on Sunday, July 5 to catch 24 hours of Indiana-only programming. The day of Indiana programming is the second of three full days dedicated to Hoosiers athletics and campus programming that will air this summer.
