
5/11/2008 - The Indiana baseball team won a wild, 14-12 contest over Northwestern on Sunday in extra innings. Josh Phegley and Kipp Schutz hit home runs for the Hoosiers in the victory, while Tyler Rogers had four hits for the victors. IU split the weekend series with the Wildcats to move to 23-28 (11-17 Big Ten). Read Full Release

Matt Bashore was stellar in a complete-game victory in the first game of a doubleheader against Northwestern, but the Wildcats picked up a 10-8 victory in game two to split the double dip and win two of the first three games of the series. IU and NU will finish off the series Sunday at 2 p.m. CT/1 p.m. ET in a game that will be televised on tape delay beginning at 5 p.m. ET on the Big Ten Network.
