Allen Scores 16 For Australia At World University Games

Bangkok, Thailand - Indiana junior center Ben Allen scored 16 points for Australia in an 81-79 loss to Korea in a preliminary group contest at the World University Games in Bangkok, Thailand. Twenty-four teams are entered.
Off the bench, Allen scored 16 points and had six rebounds. He was the second leading scorer for his team.
Allen's next game with Australia is August 10 against Israel. Following the preliminary round, a second phase of the event will begin August 12. A third phase of the tournament starts August 15 with the finals and medal games to be held August 17 and 18.
