BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Fans can catch the Indiana football team for the final time this spring at the Cream & Crimson Scrimmage on Saturday. The scored scrimmage will be held at Memorial Stadium and will start at approximately 2 p.m.
The game will feature three scrimmage periods with a 15-minute running clock and two scrimmage periods with a 10-minute running clock. Head coach Bill Lynch will address the crowd during the halftime period.
Gates to Memorial Stadium will open at 1 p.m. Admission is free and seating for the public will only be made available on the west side of the stadium.
Fans can renew, order or drop off season ticket renewals by visiting the IU Athletics Ticket Office on the west concourse.
In addition, The Marching Hundred and IU Cheerleaders will be in attendance, and our young Hoosier fans can visit the IU Kids' Zone, which will open at 1 p.m. outside the west entrance.
The Big Ten Network will be on hand to provide live coverage of the scrimmage for a special broadcast of the BIG TEN TONIGHT: SPRING FOOTBALL SHOWCASE presented by Jimmy John's. Dave Revsine, Gerry DiNardo and Howard Griffith will host the program from Chicago with live look-ins from that afternoon's eight spring games in the Big Ten.
The show will take fans to Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan State, Ohio State, Penn State, Purdue and Wisconsin. At each stop, the Big Ten Network football analysts will give their early opinions on the 2008 season, break down important position battles and discuss which players could have breakout seasons.
