Balchan Named to U-20 Roster for England Training Trip

4/28/2008 - Indiana University rising sophomore Rich Balchan (Carmel, Ind.) is one of 18 players selected to the U.S. Under-20 Men's National Team which will travel to Manchester, England for a week-long foreign training trip. The team will play three friendlies against the reserve teams from English Premier League teams Bolton, Manchester United and Liverpool. Read Full Release

Armstrong Stadium Ranked No. 2 Among American Soccer Stadiums

In a recent article written on goal.com, Indiana University's Armstrong Stadium was ranked the second-best place to watch a soccer match in the United States. The Hoosiers' home pitch was topped only by RFK Stadium, home of Major League Soccer's D.C. United.

Hoosiers Fall to Mexico, 2-0 in International Friendly

Playing before a partisan crowd of 4,661 at Armstrong Stadium, the Indiana Hoosiers men's soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision to the U-20 Mexican Youth National Team Tuesday night. This was the fourth-straight season that IU and Mexico have matched up in exhibition play, with Mexico winning three of the four meetings.
