BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana University men's soccer team will host the Midwest Soccer Coaches Symposium, April 6-7, 2007, on the campus of Indiana University in Bloomington, Ind.
This symposium is designed to offer soccer coaches throughout the Midwest two days of professional development. The informative and stimulating coaching sessions give coaches an opportunity to grow with the game. Field sessions will address offensive and defensive principles, technical and tactical development and positional play.
Unique features to the symposium include a match analysis and an adidas social.
Clinicians include the staff of the Indiana University men's soccer team (head coach Mike Freitag and assistants Todd Yeagley and Phil Presser), along with former U.S. National Team coach Steve Sampson, former Indiana head coach Jerry Yeagley, University of Louisville head coach Ken Lolla, and former Indiana goalkeeper and volunteer coach Juergen Sommer.
