83 Hoosiers Earn Spring Academic All-Big Ten Honors
5/31/2009 - The Big Ten Conference announced on Friday, May 29 that the Indiana Department of Athletics posted 83 student-athletes on the 2009 Spring Academic All-Big Ten team across 10 sports, including two Hoosiers with 4.0 grade point averages. Ferguson Named to ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District Team
Sophomore Lachlan Ferguson continues to rack up postseason honors for his work on the court and in the classroom. The College Sports Information Directors of America announced the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District teams on Thursday. Ferguson earned second team honors for his 3.90 GPA and his success on the tennis court.

Indiana Men's Tennis Signs Three
Indiana men's tennis head coach Randy Bloemendaal announced on Wednesday the signing of three players for the fall of 2009. The three players are Isade Juneau from Quebec, Canada, Tommy Aliber from Mission Hills, Kansas, and Joshua Mactaggart from Barnstom, England. The coach said that all three players should be able to contribute to the Hoosier program right away.
