CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - Senior Lachlan Ferguson and sophomore Maxime Armengaud claimed victories on Sunday in consolation action to finish the UVa Ranked Plus One invitational winning six of their last seven matches, with Ferguson winning the consolation title in the A-4 singles bracket. The only loss of the day came in the consolation finals as Maxime Armengaud fell to #70 Eric Quigley of Kentucky in the consolation final.
Armengaud took down Victor Melo of Middle Tennessee State to advance to the final and claimed a first set victory over Quigley. Ferguson defeated Robert Hall of Louisville on his way to the consolation title.
