BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana men's cross country team moved up three spots to No. 5 in this week's United States Track and Field/Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Great Lakes Regional poll.

The Hoosiers finished sixth at the 22nd Annual Roy Griak Inviational on Saturday, Sept. 29 as they were paced by redshirt junior Jordan Kyle. Kyle finished eighth overall with a time of 24:45 in the 8K race, while junior Timothy McLeod (36th, 25:27), freshman Cole Hardacre (39th, 25:34), redshirt junior Mark Fruin (41st, 25:36), redshirt junior Brennon Plotner (52nd, 25:44) and freshmen Ben Hubers (59th, 25:44) and Jacob Rich (79th, 26:04) rounded out the Indiana pack.

IU will be back in action on Saturday, Oct. 13, as it gets its first look at the site of the 2007 NCAA Championships when it travels to the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course for Pre-Nationals in Terre Haute, Ind.
