83 Hoosiers Earn Spring Academic All-Big Ten Honors
The Big Ten Conference announced on Friday, May 29 that the Indiana Department of Athletics posted 83 student-athletes on the 2009 Spring Academic All-Big Ten team across 10 sports, including two Hoosiers with 4.0 grade point averages. IU was led by 19 honorees from the women's track and field team.

Five Hoosiers Earn Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association Scholar-Athlete Honors
The Indiana Rowing team had five student-athletes earn Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association Scholar-Athlete honors. IU's five honorees are the most the program has had since 2007.
