Indiana sophomore midfielder Lisa Nouanesengsy scored in the first half to give the Hoosiers a lead but Michigan State (12-4, 5-3 Big Ten) scored the tying goal with two seconds left in regulation and then got the game-winner in the fourth minute of overtime to hand IU the 2-1 loss.

The Indiana Hoosiers were able to put a pair of goals on the board at the Varsity Soccer Complex against Purdue but the Boilermakers scored eight goals to provide the final score of 8-2. Devon Beach scored in the second half off a corner kick and Orianica Velasquez put home a penalty kick.

The Indiana University women's soccer team will head to West Lafayette on Thursday to take on the Purdue Boilermakers in a rivalry game for both schools. The winner will also bring home the "Golden Boot".

The Indiana women's soccer team suffered a 3-0 loss to No. 18 Penn State (12-3, 5-1 Big Ten) at Armstrong Stadium on Saturday afternoon. The Hoosiers trailed 1-0 at the half but the Nittany Lions were able to find the back of the goal twice in a two-minute span in the second half to put the game away.

After Illinois took a 1-0 lead into the locker room, Kate McCusker's first career goal tied it for Indiana (5-6-1, 1-3 Big Ten) less than three minutes after halftime. But the Fighting Illini (7-4-1, 1-2-1 Big Ten) scored a trio of goals over the final 40 minutes to hand IU the 4-1 loss.
