MADISON, Wis. - Taylor Walsh scored with just 1:20 to play in regulation to lift Wisconsin to a 1-0 victory over the Indiana women's soccer team on Friday night. Lindsay Campbell made four saves in a losing effort for Indiana.

The two teams remained scoreless into the closing minutes until Walsh finally broke the tie with her seventh goal of the season. Laurie Nosbusch got the play started for the Badgers. Nosbusch's initial attempt was blocked by the Hoosier defense, but Walsh jumped on the ball and deposited it into the back of the cage at 88:40 to give Wisconsin the victory.

In the first half, the Hoosiers got off five shots and limited Wisconsin to just two. In the fourth minute, IU forced its way into a corner kick, but Leigh Anne Cummings' attempt off a Kristin Arnold corner went just high. Devon Beach had two shots in the opening half, including a ball on frame in the 30th minute that keeper Jamie Klages was able to handle.

The game remained uneventful through the 70th minute, but the Badgers turned up the heat on IU in the closing 20 minutes. Campbell made three saves in rapid succession, turning aside an Ashley Hedges strike in the 74th, a Leigh Williams shot in the 75th and a Walsh Riley attempt in the 77th to keep the game scoreless until Walsh's goal.

Indiana will be back in action on Sunday for a road game against Northwestern. The Hoosiers and NU take the pitch in Evanston at 1 p.m. CT/2 p.m. ET.
