BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Indiana men's and women's soccer teams will host a doubleheader Sunday at Armstrong Stadium beginning at noon. The 24th-ranked women's squad will begin the action with a non-conference affair against Oakland on Senior Day, as IU celebrates the careers of its five seniors. Then, the 16th-ranked men will face a pivotal conference clash against Ohio State in a contest that will be televised on the Big Ten Network.
The women's squad hosts Oakland for Senior Day on Yeagley Field. The game will be the final home regular season contest for Hoosier seniors Beverly Markwort, Lindsay McCarthy, Kate Nierman, Katy Stewart and Suzie Teixeira. It is also the final non-conference affair for Indiana in the 2007 campaign. The Hoosiers are currently 11-2-2 on the season, posting the most wins since 1998.
The Hoosier men continue their quest for the Big Ten title as they play host to Ohio State Sunday afternoon. Indiana is currently tops in the Big Ten at 3-0, while the Buckeyes are a game behind at 2-1.
