Morris Takes Seventh in Heptathlon After Day Two of the Alabama Relays

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - Freshman Laura Morris completed the heptathlon with a final score of 4,491 points for seventh place in day two of the 2008 Alabama Relays on Friday, March 28.
She recorded a career day with bests in the long jump (5.23m), javelin throw (25.27m) and in the 800-meter run (2:33.42).
