No. 6 San Diego State Too Much For No. 18 Indiana at Princeton Invite

PRINCETON, N.J. - The No. 18 Indiana women's water polo team scored 28 goals in the first two games of the Princeton Invite combined, but ran into a stiff test in No. 6 San Diego State in its first game on Sunday. The Aztecs were able to slow down the offense of Indiana on their way to a 12-6 win.
Brooke Zimmerman scored three goals while Kelly Palmberg, Amy Moore and Lauren Wyckoff accounted for the IU tallies. For Zimmerman, it is her fourth game this season with at least three goals.
SDSU held a 3-1 lead after the first period and a 5-3 advantage at the half. From there, they continued to build on the lead in the second half, outscoring IU by a 7-3 margin.
