BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Former Indiana cross country and track and field head coach Sam Bell, along with current Hoosier head coach Ron Helmer and Associate Athletics Director Janet Kittell will hold a brief dedication and ribbon-cutting ceremony following the 2007 NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championship races to honor past Indiana cross country and track and field greats.

The Running Legends Park is a collection of limestone slabs on the IU Cross Country Championship Course with pictures of some of Indiana's running greats. It serves as a tribute to some of the Hoosiers' cross country and track and field NCAA champions, world-record holders and Olympians.

The men's 10K regional championship race is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. ET, with the women's 6K race following at 12:15 p.m.
